Clutch Time

Hi All,
Hope all had a Blessed Christmas......Time to do my first
clutch replacement on my 47 8n.......the last time I did a clutch
was pushing 25 years ago on a 65 Chevy.....any pitfalls to
avoid?.......any of the after market stuff to avoid?......any
places to buy from to recommend over others?....I would be
grateful for any input guys......Many Thanks in advance!

I get the clutch & pressure plate rebuilt locally rather than worry about parts quality. Replace the pilot bearing, t/o bearing & transmission seal while you are in there. Don't put the disc in backwards!

Be sure the tractor is level front to back before separating. you can place a level on the bottom of the block casting. Slips together a lot easier if level.
