Werksguy,
In Minnesota we would say, rather be lucky than good! You made a great purchase
Last spring I was going through the photo ads and noticed a metal lathe for $400.00 or it would go to scrap. I let it go for awhile and finally contacted the owner. Told him I would give him more than double the scrap price-700 lb x $.09 cents which added up to $l28.00,but would give $150.00 plus $75.00 to load on my trailer. He went along with the deal. Left central Minnesota after church and arrived near Peoria, Il late that night. Final price, $150.00. No loading fee. The only one wondering about the deal is my dear sweet wife. I told her it will be used to make repair parts for my N tractors
Lathe works great-doubles as a tornado shelter!
