I did one used a NAPA kit. all said and done next time I would buy a new tank.

Red mote always works for us.

I've used red kote a few times. It works well, it'll turn your fuel pink for a while but no harm done. You won't regret it.

I agree. I've never used a coating. From what I've heard, It will work
for a while then start flaking off and stop up your fuel line. It's the
nature of rust. If not totally removed it will continue to grow.

I have done 4 tanks with no problems, I had a radiator shop
clean them in their acid tank.

Clean the rust out using muriatic acid, and then be happy. You do not need any of that liner stuff unless your tank is beginning to rust through and has pin holes that will leak.
