Second time in three days Smokey's been called to duty. Side mount and the only added weight to the tractor is my 250 lbs. on the seat. He handled it well. We missed out on the White Christmas but looks like we are going to have a White New Year. Well gonna get a mug of cocoa and relax with a movie.

Added weight I think you best figure in the roof which I know has to be what 150-300lbs if not more LOL

How Smokey is it. I call my 2N "Old Smokey' Once you burn 4 or 5 gallons of fuel you have to stop and clean the plugs and add a couple quarts of oil.
People tell me I need the take it a part and go thru it. That's true. I do. But it still has 35 to 40 pounds of oil pressure. And it's still running. It's time is coming. But I have a 9N that hasn't run since i got it. It's going to be first. Why tear apart a running / working tractor when you got a non runner setting around?
Get you an old railroad tie our something to put on that back blade. That would help.

Looking good! I just got back from up north to a snowy driveway. I'm gonna get to try out my most recent project tomorrow :)

When we first got it, it had the differential out of it due to no oil. At the time that was fine as we bought it for the engine as we thought our old one had a cracked block which turned out not to be the case. Long story short, we found the parts we needed, fixed it up, and the first time I decided to plow the garden with it, I made the first pass and as I looked behind me, couldn't see where I had been due to the blue fog. I ran it 2 or 3 years to the point where it was starting to foul the plugs on a regular basis so I tore it down overhauled it which has been at least 25 years ago. It's still running strong. I added the roof on it about 10 years ago as I was mowing 30 acres for an elderly neighbor that had it in clean and green and wanted to keep the sun off as much as possible. I even thought about replacing him one time but decided not to and haven't regretted it since. I wanted live pto and hydraulics so I went out and bought a tractor that had it on it.
So now we have one 8n (front mount) with a wagner loader on it, Smokey which gets the 3 pt work put to him and two others of another color
