8n runs fine...needs half choke always

When entering a narrow ditch downhill and proceeding back
uphill the tractor stumbles and almost dies....then catches itself
and runs fine.

Also stumbles while bush hogging on left turn downhill

I have no clue

Any ideas?

If you have to run with the choke out something in the fuel supply must be wrong. Have you checked your shut off, cleaned screens.?With the sputter when you change angles maybe starving for fuel.
How old is your fuel could it have water?Just a couple thoughts.

Well if it only runs choked you have either poor spark which can cause that and you need a blue/white spark that jump a 1/4 inch or more or you missed something in the carb or the float is set wrong. Many carbs get cleaned but not done as well as they need to be and that causes problems like your having or a simple weak spark problem since more gas is burns easier by the weak spark
