The loader I have on my HG42 is also a Ware but Ware is a common brand on the Cletracs. As for the link I did not try going to it since I am on dial up links always take a very long time to load. I put an Oliver 60 engine in my HG so it would have enough power to do some real work with the dozier blade [Reply]   [No Email]

Cletrac's came with an IXK. This one is an IXB. While both were made from the same block, the IXK had a bore size of 3 1/8". The IXB had a bore size of 3 1/4". I don't know how much more Horses that gives me. In cubic inches the IXK is 113ci while the IXB is 133ci. I didn't want to go way over the original power. I'd likely tear out the drive train. The OC-3 I had also had a ware loader on it with a pretty good size bucket on it. As for the cubic inches of a 60 I do not know I do know it has a bore of 3-5/16 and as per the NEB yest the Oliver 60 had just under 19HP [Reply]  [No Email]

A "N" engine is 120 ci. This cletrac came with 113 ci. The new engine has 133 ci. You think maybe your old engine may had just been worn and had loss power? Wonder why Cletrac went with 113ci when all the other (same) blocks were bored to 133ci. I'm not saying your 60 engine doesn't have more power than mine with 12.4 more cubic inches. We all know there are ways to increase the power of an engine with out changing the cubic inches. But the manufacturer built them for years with the smaller engine. Seems the new buyers would had complained about the lack of power. And then the Military liked the hercules engine. They used them for years. I've heard a lots of people talk good of the Hercules engine. Term used alots is "Bullet Proof" I hope I don't find I don't like it. [Reply]  [No Email]

The reason the Military liked them is because they where a simple engine as in most any body could make then run and yes as long as you had gas and oil most of the time they did run and when you had to count on it the military could most of the time. That all said the Cletrac crawlers where never made to have a loader or dozier on that all that was aftermarket stuff that lead to many other problems [Reply]  [No Email]
