With the ignition off probe both ends of the last resistor and see if you can determine the resistance in Ohms.
Then you can try a resistor with less resistance. A good experiment might be to get a variable resistor aka potentiometer of enough capacity and try starting. Work down from higher to lesser resistance. More resistance = less or no spark, not enough resistance = release the magic smoke. They have magic smoke inside. If it gets away they quit working.
