Oil line routing.

I recently purchased a conversion kit that replaces the canister oil filter can with a screw on filter. My issue is the oil lines. Does any one have a diagram of how the lines are routed completely. I think mine are routed wrong because on the oil filter there is a line on the left and the bottom. Every pic I see on the internet shows the line on the right of the filter and one on the bottom. So I further investigated and noticed that at the tee one line is pinched off. I use my tractor alot. Apperently it works but I would like to redo all the lines. Thanks

Gabriel........whattza matter, don't like gittin' yer little pinkies dirty??? What is wrong with the original canister oil filter scheme??? It's good enuff fer Mercedes Benz, I buy a M/B oil filters.

The spin-on conversion block attachment requires the oil be fed from the top front of the block attachment adapter. Ittza really a fault of the spin-on filter internal design.

As fer the "T" on the block, that is part of the "feed" to the oil pressure dash gauge ...and... to yer oil filter. Cheap shadetree mechanics, pinch-off the feed to the oil pressure gauge, stedda replacing the $10 gauge. 'course many shadetree mechanic have never seen an oil gauge on their BelchFire-V8, just seen an idiot lite. .......oily Dell

The one line on the top of the canister oil filter which is on the right goes to the governer and the other line goes to the tee.
I thought at the tee it goes to the governer. Is there any diagrams available?

o rocket science here. Really simple, oil from engine is routed through EITHER type filter, flowing INTO the outer shell of filter and OUT of the center of the filter. Plumb as required to achieve that flow.

GabrielC74, Here are pictures of how I ran my new oil lines for the filter adapter I bought. I had to cut a notch in the coil bracket, but I ran the line from the filter to the Govy up over the block, between the head and water pump. If I were to do the rear line again, I would buy a 45 degree fitting for it too, just to make it head for the block sooner, but I'm leaving it the way I have it. Hope this helps.
