Jet adjustment

In the FO-4 book it states that both jets should be adjusted out "1 Turn" on my 1950 8N/6V. Does this mean 1 revolution (360 degrees)?

Yes, but the prevailing theory on this board is that the main jet should be turned out 2 turns and the idle jet just be adjusted as follows: Set the idle speed screw so that the engine is running at 400-500 rpms. Then adjust the idle screw (in for rich out for lean) to obtain the fastest idle. Now adjust the idle screw to slow the engine back down to 400 - 500 rpms. Do this three times and you are done.
