L.B., no offense taken. As a veteran myself, I would prefer to buy American.
Problem is, if you want something new, there aren't any.
As for the Chinese, we bash their products pretty regularly.
However, most of the time, they are building exactly what they are told
to build as dictated by their parent company's specifications.
Those parent companies may be Ford, Chevy, Dodge or John Deere for example.
If our spec's required that a part be built out of ABC metal and withstand
XYZ force at DFE temperature, within .00xx tolerance, they would build it.
Instead we demand that they produce a part that is less than $20.
And they build it. Then we complain about the quality. |

| I agree with you, the reason why products are coming from China is because big companies want more profit , and don't want to pay America's wages . If you want to bankrupt China , close all Walmart stores in N.A. Stan 9N 222933 2N with 8N motor 8N345567 8N 146710 8N 179555 8N 197904 8N 199000 8N 254079 8N 362039 |

| | Actually, the reason that products are being imported from China is because companies want to stay in business. The reality is that if established companies do not import from China, or any other area where the costs of production are lower, their competition (established competition or new comppetition) will. The market (buyers) theoretically could prevent this but it not done so and will not do so. Dean |

Heybusdriver I have to partially disagree.
You See, "big companies" do need profit same as small companies. However, they have no profit until they make a sale, which is where everyday John Q Public comes in. He with his consumer vote tells "Big company" YES!!! give us cheap Chinese!!! There is not much American made product that we can buy any more, but we can still buy local by supporting our independently owned stores. |
