Did as I said I would not do and put the old spring back in. You were right- the length was different on the new spring-shorter. The new spring had to made by WIMP INC. It just does not have the same tension as the old original. The reading is back to the old 25psi to ?. I am very meticulous about gauge readings and function so always keep a close eye on the oil pressure. Any other thoughts are welcome!
