I would get him a log chain so you can pull that little ford around when it quits on him. You got the better end of the deal. Just kiddin I have a Farmall H two A"s and a 47 ford 2n. The ford gets all the use except at parade time. One of my farmall buds hung a log chain around my ford front bumper two years ago as a joke. I have never used it.

I got his Super C. We built a 3 point hitch for it. It runs like a top also. He has taken this Ford all over. I thought about buying him the stuff to do the brakes. I pay for the parts and then repair them. Might be safer for him since he is driving it down the road. :-D

Doning the brakes is quit a job. Make sure he puts in sure seals if the brake shoes are gettin oiled. My dad likes the little fords better than the farmalls too.

Ya, I have a Ford tractor mechanic about 15 min from my house. I talked to him about te job and all parts needed. Seals included. He says if I just take my time and pull the axle, it goes back the same way it came out. He did some work for me on a 9n that I had. He is a good old guy and always willing to help out. THanks
