Does anybody use HEET in their gas during the winter months. My 41 9N sits outside all year long. Just wondering. |

| | As we can only get "corn fed" fuel, not unless so much water that it it separates and I see it in the sediment bowl. E.g then it can freeze If you do need to add drygas use an isopropanol based product rather than methanol |

| | No. I haven't used it since they started adding ethanol to all the gas around here. While HEET is methanol & probably is better at absorbing water in the gas than ethanol, I use Marine Stabil instead which does more than just absorb water. |

| All most never but then Heet is alcohol and the gas you get now days unless the top $$ stuff has alcohol in it any how. I also do not leave gas in the tractor tanks because alcohol absorbs water then evaporates the that in turn leaves the water behind so an empty tank you do not have that problem with |
