No matter what I do to the carb, whether adjusting or moving linkage by hand, it still runs extremely fast.

| So your saying if you try to slow the engine down by pulling on the carb/gov rod it does not slow down?? If that is true did you maybe remove the throttle plate from the carb and install it back wards so it does not move and close up as it should???
