finally got my 9n put back together after three months of working on it on my ten days off here and there. rubuilding the engine and replacing bearings in both transmissions turned into rebuilding the engine both transmissions and working over the hydrolics. works like a well oiled machine. had a minor set back with shearing the oilpump drive gear, but got it all straightened out and it holds over 50 psi cold and about 20 warm at idle. found the gasket on the lift cylinder blown out was the cause of my weak hydrolics. lifts and holds as it should now. thanks to all of you for educating me about these neat little machines before i tore it down. |
