i was wondering what it takes to put a v8 in a 8N ford?? a friend has a 52(i think) that has a rod sticking out of the block (i dont know how) anyway he was thinking about a v8 conversion, he dont have any money so he would have to do it at home, he foes have a old ford truck with a 302 v8 in it he could use.... any ideas? thanks |

| sHan.......as the ol' Hot-Rodders say, "ain't no substitute fer cubic inches, except cubic money, how fast do you want to go?" The 1949-52 flathead V-8 is the one to use. The OHV 302 will NOT mate to the 8N-tranny. Of course iff'n yer Marvin Bauman, he has even mounted a turbine jet engine. ........Dell |
