Not too good at telling the difference between the two - which here is the 8N?

if I could get them both for 1k, I'd go for it.

if he balks about the 'antique/historical piece of equipment'

attached to the one, I'd tell him, he could keep that,

I just want the tractors.

can't lose money, ie local yard has the front tin clip off an 8N

in similar no rust thru condition for $400-450,

and he'll get it....

tin and fenders not rusted bad are in high demand here in the rust belt.

personally, I'd save them both.

probably stuck (which is a great negotiating tool)

It's really not that hard to get them loose.........usually :D

I can see why you might be confused. The guy is telling you one is a 9N. Yet they both look alike because they are both 8Ns. Hopefully you are out loading them up by now. Get them both.

Thinking if I could get the best looking of the bunch for under $500 at least the parts worth that much?
