Plane Bart 09-06-2012 17:38:02 184.241.122.227 Report to Moderator	Thanks to Hobo who let me know I was missing some Safety devices, I now have re-done the plumbing on the air compressor.re-routed the air input to the top. It was on the side. I added the 3/4" check valve, a head safety blow off valve, and a new proper 30 amp pressure switch with a unloader valve. Also got the hose reel mounted and feel much better knowing I no longer have a 80 gallon bomb in my shop. Next up is a Size 1 magnetic motor starter switch will pick it up next time I am down at our Caroline County office. [Reply]   [No Email]

To install it I need to mount the compressor on some anti vibration blocks to raise it up 2 1/2" I only have about one inch from the floor to the bottom plug I have some of them down in the wood shop if not I can make them from 1/4" rubber mat and some pressure treated wood. Plan to use 1/2" drop in anchors and bolt it to the floor. [Reply]  [No Email]

Do not go "overboard".. a manual drain on the tank will doo,,,,,too! Just remember to drain things annually. Probabaly only a cup of water will come out, with such a set-up like yours. Moisture can cause problems in your hose - reel set up. Keep air dry or tires, and rubber will rot from inside out. Also pneumatic equipmet should have dry air. Hobo yes the check valve is rated for Horizontial and Vertical use. I installed the pop off valve in the head because I saw similar models at Tractor supply that had them figured for six bucks it can't hurt being a spring loaded pressure switch I can't see why it would not work Horizontial? It would not clear the air filter but I can add a spare 90 to make it upright If I need to. The Graco Hose reel was the only payment I got for replacing a MX19 transmission in a Former buddies Lincon Town car front wheel drive V8 it wasn't to bad when he had to leave and was no longer helping me LOL But yes he did approcreate it from work. It was for oil dispensing and covered with filth when I got it two cans of brake cleaner and lots of rags new hose to make it look like it does now. He did say thank you though but never offered to pay me either I haven't seen him much science his loss not mine LOL [Reply]  [No Email]

I spec yours is around 19/20 CFM @ 100 PSI... Mine makes plenty of water hope you put a ball valve in the bottom and its EZ to open to drain the water... It makes so much water I put a auto drain on it and only use it in the cooler months... [Reply]  [No Email]

What lead you to install a pop off in the head....
