international606 09-06-2012 16:14:29 50.126.254.91 Report to Moderator	I have an 8n front mount distributer 12v with electronic ignition. It will run fine then miss maybe back fire then will recover and run fine. It will idle good. I have a feeling that it is electrical. Has normal power under load it will just miss every now and then. I have replaced the usual trying to track it down. plugs, cap, rotor. I am starting to think it is the bushing in the distributer. Any other thoughts. [Reply]   [No Email]

It was the only time is was difficult to start. Went through everything: points, plugs, carb, new distributor cap and gasket. Finally changed the bushings as Bruce and other forum members had suggested. I knew there was some play, but did not think it was the problem. I'd do a comp test and maybee pull side valve covers and see if you got a sticking valve... post back [Reply]  [No Email]
