I had the alt tested and it passed and charged battery and left alone for 24 hours and it went from 13.6 to 13.2. Does this mean I have a slow drain. I think I know the answer but I need a second opinion.

I put a full charge on both deep cycle and regular starting batts. After setting several days will still read over 13 volts. Heck right now my deep cycles are readin about 12.8 and they have been setting over 2 months.

NO what you reading is a surface charge ...

The surface charge must be removed from a freshly charged battery before testing. A 12 hour lapse after charging qualifies, or you may remove the surface charge with a load (20 amps for 3 plus minutes). Are crank the engine over for 15 sec. to burn off the surface charge...

Sounds like you have the battery over charged. A good battery should read right around 12.3 volts give or take a tad bit. What you read on that one says it is over charged and it will in fact try to right it self over time and slowly go down to around the 12.3 volts it should be. By the way you do know you can take that battery to an auto parts store where they can load test it so you know for sure it is good

Old a fully charged 12 volt battery will read about 13.6-13.8 volts or so.

You may see over 13 volts after an engine is shut down but the voltage will drop over time.a battery that is discharged will take on a surface charge soon after being put on a charger. If you check with a hydrometer the battery is still in a discharged state. The new chargers from China that have a lot of blinking leds will charge a battery to a half charged state and shut off. They have a US makers name on them. These new chargers do not have a transformer in them, cost little to build and dont work.A friend bought one.We found it shut off at half charge. It took 3 more hours on a 6amp charger to read full charge.

Disconect the ground cable, Hold a light bulb (same voltage) between the ground and that batery cable. If it lights up you have a draw somewhere in the system. Good luck!
