John, I found the rear plug is missing from the oil tube. You said there is one in the front also. Do you access it by removing the front gear cover or the oil pan. Also this looks like socket head 1/8" NPT. Is that correct? 48-49 8NThanks again B Jones |

| If the machine shop did the job and forgot to replace the galley plugs I believe I would call the machine shop and tell them to come and get it and fix it right. |

| If I remember correctly you will need to remove the time gear cover and remove the timing gear its self to get to the front plug. I have always removed the plugs and put them in a safe place and replaced them when I got the block back. I have seen different types. Some have slot for a regular screw driver and others have been a bolt head. I don't know the thread type. Someone else may be able to help with that. I would call the machine shop and ask them for my plugs back. |
