1946 2N generator bolt adjusting tensioner.
This is used to keep tension on the fan belt.
I am missing the end pieces toward the engine.
The belt tension can not be adjusted some of the original parts got lost.
What can be used in it's place or does anyone have a complete adjuster for sale.
Thanks

I have one of the little tabs that bolts to the head. I don;lt have spares of the threaded rod or the special nut that seats in the tab.

John;

I MAY have what you need here.!!!

Need to see what you have there, so I can go through my tensioner parts and match what you are needing!!!!

I can't tell which side of this forum you posted on....MODERN, or CLASSIC side.???

If you can send me an email, maybe I can find the parts you need, here!!!

My email is always open at the bottom of my replies/posts, on the modern side of this forum.

Gary (GB in MT) :)

They show up from time to time on ebay. Starting mid year 1940, 9Ns used the same generator that you have without any tensioner. (It was added later) I have had a couple that way. So until you rind the missing piece you can run it without the tensioner.
