" Soundguy just tosses bogus stuff out like that to see if we're paying attention..........messing w/ the newbies. :) Yes, it's correct. The question concerned a round coil on an NAA. A 12v round coil on an N or an NAA does not need a resistor. Unless it is clearly marked that it needs one......in which case, buy another coil like the IC14SB Soundguy listed. A square front coil on an N always needs the OEM ballast resistor. Doesn't matter if it's 6v or even if it's a 12v coil. 50 Tips [Reply]  [No Email]
