I see alot of different ring gears on the market for the 8N. Is there a good US made one? I really don't want to redo this in the near future. Thanks |

| If you are like most of us here your tractor might get a couple hundred hours put on it a year. So even a cheap China Maid ring gear will get you 20 years worth of starts. |

| Sorry, I am talking about the starter ring gear. Called the local New Holland Dealer and he wanted $50.00 for one from their warehouse, but said it's proably the same gear as the aftermarket ones. So maybe all are made in China or overseas. |

| | Are you speaking of the flywheel ring gear or the differential ring gear. I doubt that anyone is still making the differential ring and pinion sets. Dean |

| | for used / salvage: john smith has a complete diffy carry assy and pinion for sale. might have ust a ring gear.. dunno.. email him. also email jimut if nada there for salvage.. go new.. and check at this site. |
