The air and fuel mixture passages are dif. inside the carb, and I would expect the carb to manifold flange, to be of the bigger spacing. Would like to see the carb, picture-wise, close-up shot, on both sides, so as to see what shape it is in. I do not have a good way to post pictures. It is very rebuildable. Thuought you could use it for parts if you had a different throttle & choke shaft.
