Ted;
Thank you for the try, but The TSX748 will not work, in place of the TSX428. The air and fuel mixture passages are dif. inside the carb, and I would expect the carb to manifold flange, to be of the bigger spacing.
The TSX428, was/is made specifically to the 134 CI Ford engine, and is used on the '53' Ford 'JUBE'
Thanks for thinking of me tho!!!!!
Gary :wink: |

| Was prowling around up in the Seely Lake area on vacation and watched for Ford tractor carb proving grounds , but failed to see any. Was a nasty semi small car collision that blocked traffic two ways. |

Ted;
If that is a TSX428, used on the '53' Jube, then YES, If ya don't want a fortune for it!!!, I can use it.
Would like to see the carb, picture-wise, close-up shot, on both sides, so as to see what shape it is in.
If you can send me those pix, in an email, with what you have to have for it, I would appreciate it!!!!
My email is open at the bottom of this reply, on the Modern side of this forum.
Just poke the email button, and start typing.
I'll be waiting, for your email, or a reply here!!!
Thanks

| | Gary, the carb is off an AC I think. It is a M/S TSX748 154. I do not have a good way to post pictures. It is very rebuildable. Thuought you could use it for parts if you had a different throttle & choke shaft. I would let you use your own judgement as to price. Your private message showed site under construction Ted |
