In 4th gear at higher speed, my right front wheel begins to seriously wobble. The steering gear has quite a bit of play in it but the left wheel doesn't have the wobble problem. I was thinking to replace the wheel bearings. Any other suggestions? |

| | Adjust the toe-in. If this does not solve the problem, remove the backlash in the steering gearbox and linkage. Dean |

| | well.. it certaintly MIGHT need wheel bearings. is worth a check.. that and the hub. I'd also address the steering box slop. might need a sector backlash adjustment and/or a thrust beairng repalcement. also look at draglink and tie rod ends, and an important one. toe in. without about .25" toe in.. the tires can splay out and wobble. if there are wear in multiple places, adressing a single problem won't give you good results.
IF you do beairngs.. also replace the dust seals. (rubber out ) |

| Jack up the front end of the tractor and see where the play is. Could be any of the wearable points in the steering system. Wheel bearings, front axle center pin, spindle bushings, drag link ends, steering box. |
