I have a Ferguson tractor TO30 style. I am trying to replace the bearings and seals on the rear axle. I have the axel out bot cannot remove the axle shaft coller from the axle shaft. I have tried to heat it and press it out with no success. Any thoughts would be appreciated.Bill |

| bill , in looking at the to-30 service manuel, the retainer is a use once then replace item, when you remove it, it requires destroying it, [ drill with a 1/4 inch drill, then split it with a cold chisel], replacing it with a new one requires at least 2 special tools, others may chime in with an alternate way to do this |
