I am positive that the propeller shaft is too long. It makes a lot of racket when running. Any ideas to adjust it? Are shorter shafts available? |

| You can also down load the manual for it from Woods. According to the manual a short shaft was/is available but I did as was suggested and cut it down. Been using it like that going on 3 years now with no problems.
Oregon (chain saw chain and blade maker) makes replacement blades for them to include "Gator" blades.
The Woods site has a dealer locator too.

| bgarrett,You can shorten a pto shaft by cutting a equal amount off of both pieces of the shaft where it slides apart. |
