You mentioned if my tractor had 8NB good deal 8NC great deal why is that ? BTW mine has 8NC on the the housing where the starter is bolted to. Thanks for your info. |

8N-C's bring a premium around here.
Guess people figure if you are buying an N, might
as well get all the improvements.
If you have a very late one with the lube hole in the steering column,
and the bulge in the tranny case, it's worth a little more.
Guy down the road has a very nice late 52........can't talk
him out of it at anything close to reasonable. |

8N-C means that your tractor has the .090" cast iron sleeves and that it is either a late 1951 or 1952.
