I picked up a Bobcat T108 walk behind trencher this weekend it has a Robin TY 28 engine on it
Sprayed PB Blast in the cylinder engine spins freely now compression is 110, weak spark but engine will fire and run on ether.

As found condition was chest high grass no gas cap or air filter Carberator has a hole clean thru the bowl.

Right now I only have sweat equity in this new carb is $60.00 bucks but I cannot find the air filter assembly online by chance would any one on this site have one they are looking to get rid of?

Also is any one had any experience with this machine?

I would like to know what the #2 and #4 are on the rear wheel hubs?

What is the best way to get the rust out of the gas tank?

Any information will be appreciated

Try Flea-Bay there's a bunch of folks that part engines there and every now and then you'll see a group of NOS parts from a dealer or business that shut down

I don't know a thing about that unit so can't help.
But it sounds like a pretty cool machine.
If you need a place to test it out let me know.

No problem Ultra Dog after I run power to all of my out buildings gotta make sure it works.
The digging chain did tur when running on ether as long as the hydraulics are good it should be fine another toy to stick in the tractor shed next to the TC40A glad that thing has a older bucket to lift the trencher out of the weeds
