I have a Ford I9-97 loader on my Jubilee, and I can't seem to find any books on the loader. My question is, do any of you guys have any experience rebuilding the hydraulic pistons. Mine leaks fluid where the piston slides in and out. It's a dual action piston, with pressure up and pressure down. Is it just a matter of replacing seals ? Any help appreciated. |

You did fine - that is a reasonable price.

| Thanks for all the replies. I bought this at auction a couple years ago. It has the "golden jubilee" logo in the hood, and a 4 speed tranny. I confess, I don't know a lot about these and the serial number is very hard to read. Do you think I got hoodwinked ? Paid $2100. |

| I did not notice that but your right. Wonder if it is in fact a 9N or 2N or an early 8N instead of a Jubilee/NAA |

The 19-97 manual is available for free download on the N tractor Club site:
http://www.n*tractor*club.com/manuals/implements/loaders/Dearborn%2019-97%20&%2019-105%20Industrial%20Loaders%20-%20AO.pdf
References to that site are blocked so I munged the URL to get past the filter. Remove the two *'s from the URL to get it to work
Packing for the cylinders should be standard stackable vee packing and easily replaced. Need to know the OD, ID, and height of the stack:

| A lot of times it is cheaper to take them to a hyds shop to have rebuilt due to the fact it can be hard to find the correct packing's for them and a good hyds shop will be able to measure and all so as to get the correct size parts. Plus if they need other work they have the equipment and know how and if they mess up its on them |
