Can't seem to get the air cleaner tube hooked up right to the carb. Completely stock tractor. Either the tube hits the exh. mani. clamp or is so close to the carb that I can't really get a piece of tubing in there. Anyone else had problems, and what did you do? Pics if you have em...

I did put on a new exh. manifold recently and wonder if it's off just enough to cause this.

Eric.......do it the EAZY way. DISCONNECT the air
cleaner from the battery tray and slide all yer
rubber hozes together onto yer carb mouth. Then re-
bolt yer air cleaner to yer battery tray. Simple,
eh? .......Dell

another thing to do is buy hose that has 1/4" larger than spec ID, grease it and slide it up the bend of the tube, fit th etube, slide the hose down.. the hose clamps will seal it up fine..

Either will work, kind of a pain but, now that I've got my starting issues fixed, and wont be taking the carb off again, I can do the air cleaner removal method...I like it-thanks Dell.

I put one on a friends tractor.I had to trim a 1/2 inch from it to get it to fit.If you compare it to an original part you will see the difference.
