Lift Question

I've noticed that if I shut off tractor with a load partially raised it will slowly leak down. If I raise the lift handle to the top after I shut off the tractor it will hold for days. Is this normal?
60 degrees plus yesterday, 4" plus snow tonight and still falling.

May have a worn spot or a scratch in the control valve at mid stroke causing it to leak down when shut off in that position.

For what is required to replace it, I wouldn't be too concerned.

Thanks! At first I thought I had a lift cyl problem, looks like it's holding ok. I'll leave it be.
