New shoes,,, new hold down hardware,, new outer axle seals,, new wheel bearings if needed,, a set of sure seals,, 20 Axle shims,,, make sure all the mechanical linkage is as good as new,,, be prepared for the nastiest job you will ever do to a N,,, don't cut corners,,, forgo turning the drums theirs little you can do and can mess them up EZ they are steel !!! not cast like a automotive/ truck drum,,, they are a different animal than what most folks are use to,, Theirs more to it than hang'n a set of shoes :wink:

You can Re- line to your old shoe core if the core is in good condition for haft price... You will be dealing with asbestos take precautions...
Arching the shoe,,, its not going to be of help when you are dealing with a worn drum but you can use a rasp to help form the shoe to the drum by rounding the corners... I am not talking about the leading edge I mean the sides,,, this will make for a better fit and help keep the shoe from sticking...
