i went to get a new battery for an old ford 9N but they say that it has been discontinued, Ithink it was a Red Hawk 50 but iam not positive of the brand. I do know they say the 50 group is not avalible anymore.

So whats the most common kind of battery to put in it that fits?

f I lived in cold country, I would get the most CCA I could fit within box dimensions, but I live in North Central Texas, I chunk any old battery I find in there.....usually one that me or others stopped using in a more critical application.

AllisG........12V group 22, same size as the
original 6V size 1A. Remember, 12V alternators
DEMAND negative (-) ground. The original 6V came
positive (+) ground from the factory. ........Dell
