... rainy day here in NY... time to switch the mf-48 back to the 8n.. have to change the fluid in 9n.... Lift works for a bit, then sticks.... def a water related issue.... gonna fuss with the governor on 9n again anyway.... had gov off... it works and all... bearings are fine... linkage is just all fubar... have to go down in neighbors and try to find radiator cap anyway... got into one of those damn rose bushes, and it ripped it right off somewhere... (ripped me apart also... hate those damn things... lol)

just ranting a lil'.....

Never ending battle against those $#&#$#$ rose bushes. I try
to keep them whacked down with the bush hog by backing
into them, but t'ain't easy!

... I hear ya Bill.... but not having "live" pto and low range kind makes it frustrating... lol Some of them at my neighbors are so big, if you even try to 'sideswipe" them, they catch a front tire and almost try to "steer" you...
... of course, with an "N", you can hit the clutch and stop... or keep going.... I usually "keep going"... lol... and have the battle scars to prove it... lolol

I raise the hog, back into them as far as they'll let me, and the
turn on the PTO & lower the hog - I have eliminated 3 of them
this way - just can't get the ones that reach out from across
the ditches and have the scars to prove it! I cut'em off & 3
weeks later they're back.
