Did ford make a early 3rd link that is square with the handle being a locking device. Bought a 2n with one on it.

Yes - I have one that came with a Dearborn disc - exactly like the one in Jesse's photo. Originality nuts will beat a path to your door if you want to sell it.

That top link came with a disc harrow. I have a picture somewhere but can't find it for now.

I think the only early toplink was 2 pieces of 1 1/2" wide 1/4" steel with slots for adjusting length,
