Far from done but looking better. Its a 1944 2N. Before anyone says anything I just like the 8N color combination better than just dark gray. Its gonna be a working tractor anyhow.

Looking good-you have obviously put lots of time and effort into getting it where it is now. Me too on the red/grey colors..my 47 2N is red and grey.

That's about what my 8N looks like now and would like to paint mine also. What paint did you use and did you brush or spray?

Its Rustoleum from a rattlecan. Sunburst Red. Two coats of Rustoleum Gray automotive primer and two coats of Sunburst Red. Was gonna clear coat it but thought that might be a little obsessive. The gray is Rustoleum Industrial Machine Gray. The black is Duplicolor Spray-On Truck Bedliner. It looks better in person.

Looks good. Like someone else said it's your tractor, if you want to paint it pink and purple that's your business!!

The guy I bought my 41 9N from had painted it rattlecan alum. and red and I'm touching it up for resale but changing the alum. to the Industrial Gray here is a shot as it sits today in the garage in the process without any gray on it yet.

Roxobel,

Here is a photo of my 9N after 5 years in the AZ. the rattlecan paint starts to turn pink.
The photo is of the tractor just after bringing it back to work on it to sell it. The guy I bought it from lied and showed phoney receits on a rebuild. The lights and bumper are from when he said he had the tractor in shows. It smokes to much for that. If you keep the tractor undercover and wax it all the time the rattle can is great.
