9n foot rests

Does anyone have any pictures of what the stock 9n foot rests look like? This site sells foot rests that they say are for 9n,2n.My existing rests are some sort of homemade diamond plate that is welded to the peg coming off the rear attachment for the radius arms.The rear support for the foot rest loops over and floats on the brake shaft.

AFAIK the 9N's did not come with them, they were all after market. The ones in the picture are as original as this tractor ever had. Looped over the peg and bolted to the hydraulic cover. Best picture I could find.

Out of the factory the 9N/2N just had the two front foot pegs that are part of the radius rod cap. The running boards you have hanging from them are aftermarket accessories.

I've got the same thing on my '41 9n,and they're much better than riding on the pegs,although I find myself on the pegs every time I use it.Maybe comes from my old motorcycle days.---lha

Check the Ferguson discussion page for foot rests. I have aquired several at swap meets and they bolt right on to a 9N or 2N.
