military 9n"s

i was wondering if anyone had links to any WWII tractors out there... i would like to see any of them...any witha yellow seabee logo on the sides? thanks

Go to the E Bay Official Website catagory listing

then click on All Catagories

then look under the title section of Business & Industrial

then click on Agriculture & Forestry

then click on Antique Tractors

then click on Ford Tractors.

I saw a beautiful Ford 1042-3 Air Force Tarmac tow tractor/machine on this site Saturday while looking through only about 500 of the total 2,100 Antique Ford for sale ads. The machine had the original military paint and stenciling still on it.

There are around 24,000 total tractors at the present time listed for sale on the website so I'm sure that you will find many more.

Search for " Clark CA1 Airborn Tractor" it is a famous "small" tracted tractor used by Seabees in WW2.
Also search for "Company A 879th Engineers- 17 May 1944 . Realy good story.
I have been looking for info on 9-N tractors used in WW2, so I can paint my 39" with a cab olive Drab in memory of my Father, with His company numbers on it. He served in Italy with B24 Bomber group.
Shoot me an email if you want to compare notes. joe
