2N tractor rear wheels

I have had great luck with using penetrating oil then heat, apply the heat towards the rear of the nut and it will draw oil to the heat, the oil then boils and vaporizes to help break rust loose.

When that does not work, heat it up and hit it with a lot of cold water, this causes the different thickness metals to contract at different rates and is very successful in breaking up rust. There is a risk of distortion so I use it as last choice. Works very well when all else has failed.

I've had to use heat on almost every nut or bolt
on some of the tractors I've gotten. It works on
every except on aluminum.

I've learned the hard way that sometimes patience works better than muscle. It's funny the way that works out:My muscles used to tear a lot of stuff up,now trying to use them tears me up[arthritis]HaHa!---lha
