kopeck 08-28-2010 14:38:01 66.243.209.243 Report to Moderator	Cleaning out the shop I happened on a set of wheels and tires that look like they're off an 8N. They have brand new CO-OP (well, not new but unused) 4.00-19 tri-ribs, one still has the sticker on it. I'm curious what else they might have fit? I'm a Farmall guy, I knew they were off a ford but I had to use google images to narrow it down. My guess is my Grandfather ordered the new tires for someone (he had an Agway), installed them and the person never came back or couldn't pay for the tires, more likely they never came back just knowing my Grandfather. The wheels are in really nice shape too, no rust to speak of. Never know what you are going to find I guess. Thanks, K [Reply]   [No Email]

soundguy 08-28-2010 17:45:38 173.6.170.94 Report to Moderator	Re: 8N Front Wheels Tires in reply to kopeck, 08-28-2010 14:38:01   4x19 could have been early 8n or 9n/2n. if the wheels are 5 lug with a wide center hub then 9n/2n if 6 lug and smaller hub.. then 8n. if 8n, the lug pattern is a standard commonly used implement rim.. you see them as 5.5 and 6x16 all the time.. 4x19 and 6.16 are darn close side by side. soundguy [Reply]  [No Email]
