8N front end loader

I have a hydraulic front end loader with a trip bucket that came with my 8N when I bought it. I haven"t used for several years, and looking to sell it. How much is it worth? Hoses and metal are in good shape.

Depends on the brand and if the hydraulics are run off a front mounted pump.
A decent step through loader with all the brackets and controls might fetch a few hundred.
You couldn't pay me to take one of those jungle gym Dearborn or Wagners that you have to crawl over the back of the seat to get on and off the tractor.
Used loaders in general don't sell for a whole lot of money unless they are really nice - clean, good paint, no cracks and no leaks.

You'd probably get more money out of it if you parted it out and sold the pump, control valve, cylinders and brackets seperately. I scrapped two of those Dearborns out and sold another for a 12 Pack of Pale Ale. They are really not worth much. Maybe a couple of hundred bucks if real nice and not all cracked and welded on. It's also worth more if it is still on the tractor and the buyer can see it function.
I sold this loader yesterday - 4X the loader your Dearborn is and no cracks anywhere. It just needed paint. Buyer helped me take it off the tractor. I got $650 for it.

(quoted from post at 13:58:05 06/21/10) It is a Dearborn and hydraulics run off a front mounted pump. About how much $$ is it worth?

A Dearborn pipe loader - complete with hydraulic bucket and pump - in average working condition is probably 250-350. They don't ship real well so you have to be lucky and find a buyer local....

Thanks for the info, it gives me a place to start, and I will try to sell it locally, and see what happens.
