'40 9N smooth hubs

Brought this home last night. The wheels are solid also. Aluminum Dash, (cracked) and trans cover. Runs rough, has the wrong carb and the water jacket is cracked and leaking. It starts very nice and has a new PTO. The Hydro pump must have been worked on because it is absolutely silent.
Also has a 6 volt 1 wire Alt.

if water's not getting in the oil and only leaking externally.. I'd silver solder or braze it up, fix the carb and tune it up.. tig the dash, and then go for a good cosmetic restoration.. might have a real nice parade queen for not alot of $$

I had a cracked dash on my 9N when I brought her home two months ago it cost me $35.00 bucks to have it heliarched, they did a very solid structural weld to it so i ground it out with a ZIP wheel added one thin coat of bondo sanded out with 320 grit looks fine from the front now
only spent 3 hours on it after I got it home.

I had a cracked dash on a '39 welded up and it turned out nice also. An easy repair!
