Finally had a chance to watch [i:49b2ad7a13]Summer Stock[/i:49b2ad7a13], and noticed that the Ford logos on the 8N in the movie were replaced with "Earthbuster" logos on the sides of the hood and also on the badge on the nose. The tractor they used was an earlier 8N, as the fenders have no logo...
This reminds me of [i:49b2ad7a13]Earthworm Tractors[/i:49b2ad7a13] (Joe Brown), which used Caterpillar tractors with the logos changed. Also reminds me a little of [i:49b2ad7a13]The Love Bug[/i:49b2ad7a13], in which no VW logos are seen, nor the Volkswagen or Beetle names are ever said.
Great film to watch if you want to know what a brand new 8N looked like in 1950!
A couple things they got wrong were that in one scene, Garland is shown topping off the steaming radiator with water, and in another scene, the "driveshaft" is mentioned as an item broken in the accident the tractor suffers earlier in the film.
