OT: Hydraulic floor jack

I've got two 30 year old, 2 ton, Craftsman floor jacks that both crapped out within a week of each other. Sears no longer carries parts.
They need the small piston cup and probably o-rings. (yes cleaning and further checks too) I hate to replace them with "new" imported ones. It's not a cost thing as much as the principle. I have not mic'd the old cups but estimate about a half inch. Anybody have a source to check? I'll measure 'em up when I need to.
Thanks,

Carefully remove the seals and take them to a seal house. They can find replacements. I did several Jacks. They all used the same seal. I used Roger ZatKoff here in Michigan.

The chance of you getting American made replacement parts is about 0. Makes me sick that our government has listened to the tree huggers to the extent that they have just about put the country out of the manufacturing business.

I used to use faucet washers in some old jacks. Looked just like the ones that came out of the jacks.

Great idea, I'm going to hit the plumbing section of our small town hardware and sort through the bins. I'll report back if I'm successful; might take a little lathe work to get the OD right.

Zane, your ordinarily intelligent words here have failed you this time. The reason manufacturing has moved abroad is NOT due to environmental concerns (although those are good concerns to have.) The reason is GREED by big business seeking CHEAP LABOR elsewhere, where they don't have to pay for benefits and safe working conditions, supported by people who buy their junk regardless. Put our money where our mouths are and we'll all benefit.
