Wow !! That's a lot of work ! Is it really worth it ? I've been told that the ground in Texas is so poor , it won't even raise an umbrella in the rain !!
Out here where I am, the soil is so fertile that if we drop a seed we have to "jump back" !!
All kidding aside, enjoy your garden !!

It's to make someone that hasn't got anything better to do, to walk behind yer tractor while you plow.

Gee, you're a whole lot smaller than I figured you'd be.....

The handles were already on it,,, have not took'em off,,, I added a boat winch so no need fer the handles,,, I don't think,,, mite still need'em

Here is the video. I roughed it up with dirt scoop. Finished off with rear blade, I had the leveling gear box adjusted all the way down. Not bad for a red neck job...

(quoted from post at 22:54:15 03/28/09) Whats the fence for, horses?
Fence was to keep my beagle in. He was only 3 years old and slipped a disk in his back about a month ago. He could have recovered but couldn't use his back legs(may have got the leg movement back). I couldn't stand to see him that way so I put him down. It was one of the worst week's in my life. He was a good dog. So now the fence is to keep the deer out. Beau kept them at bay before.... :D

(quoted from post at 13:49:08 03/29/09) without the dog, that fence don't have a prayer of keepin the deer out.

Well so far....No deer have jumped the fence...May take them a couple years to get over the wrath of the Beagle... If any do make it over the fence my freezer has room  8)

Latest pic's.....

The N is now kicking butt!!!!

I got the garden plowed, and the Ole Lady did a lot of planting, on her own......

Without ANY supervision....

I have no idea what she has out there, or how it is planted, or where.

I am sure there is plenty of room for more stuff, but will have to wait to see what comes up before going any farther.

Now, my next project is removing the all purpose plow, and attaching the bush hog, and spending about 6 hrs, in the sun, burning the top of my head.

I need another tractor!!!

We just had tornadoes go thru the area, all the way from B'Ham AL, and now they are in Cherokee County Ga.

160 miles, folks spotting them all the way, but not on the ground much, very little damage, but still very nerve wracking.

I had to second plant the corn. I planted it close to the last freeze date....We got a late one this year, Seems to be doing well. Time will tell..I am sure the cuc's and acorn squash will do well...

I think I need to start mater's earlier next year. I think we will get fall maters only out of them.... Everything was seeded. Only one matter was picked up started...Wife got it at some event she went to..Looks good but they take time...

Nice looking garden. I took my middle buster over to the neighbors and cut up about a 25 X 35 spot. Cut it both ways. He has a JD 650 so after I left he disked it. Called me a few days later and asked if the buster would lay off rows. It sure will. Sorry about the Bota but I keep the rough cutter on the 8N. And the scrape blade on the IH 240 U. David............

I been looking for a used middle buster. It would be perfect for my tiny garden. Still no deer in yard. We had garden out back last year. They never tried to jump in...So....so far so good :D

Garden is looking good. Planted second crop of radish to day. Only a few days away from some fresh zucchini :D

Some new pics...woo hoo..growing good.
