12-AO-28 Ferguson plow

I just picked up this plow for nearly nothing and thought I had gotten a steal until I priced the plowshares for this plow. I was first told they were nearly impossible to find and then I was told IF I could find them they would be over $125 a piece. Does that sound right? Does anyone have a source for these plowshares?
 
CU-gator........iff'n I remember the Ferguson codes, 12-AO is 12" beam. This is from John Farnsworth's "Ferguson Implements and Accessories" book.

Now lets see iff'n you are asking the right question. Plow beam is the heavy cast loop; common replaceable parts: the shin is the vertical cutting part; share is the horizontal cutting part; moldboard is the long swoopy turn-over part.

I have a 2000 catalog from Central Tractor in Iowa that lists:
shin = $9.49
share = $7.49
moldboard = $64.99

I brought my shares from Clapp brothers tractor in Siler city NC 4 years ago are so for less than $11 nanner's a piece,,, he only had one in stock at that time and ordered one for the same price...

they have a gold mine and don't know it :lol:

Must have a tractor trailer load of shares

Mine you that they are not original but bolt up and cut the ground as proud as original

I think the $125 price is a RIP off,,, only favor they are doing fer ya is laughing all the way to the bank :twisted:

Its a case of originality guys drive'n the price UP!

A working Plow should not have to suffer from a <Looker> with new paint

I would cut me some from scrap fer I gave away my hard earned money to crooks
 
Thanks Hobo, I thought that was pretty high. This is definetly a working plow and not for show. Originality is not an issue. I just want it to turn dirt over.
