'47 Oil Pump Rebuild Help (North Texas)

My adventure today was to resolve a oil pressure issue that would take several minutes to come up to 30psi after starting. The pick up tube was my focus but it is in perfect shape. I opened up the oil pump and it apeared ok. When I pulled out one gear, it shows a lot of wear and the drive gear is loosy goosy. It's 9/16" and I can order the kit, but how do I get the drive gear out? I don't have the tools to press or reem. Is there a shop in the DFW Area that can rebuild it?

Pincheweddo,Do some checking around your area at the older automotive machine shops.Call and ask if they have experience in rebuilding ford N oil pumps and if they have the proper reamers to do the job.Old Ford New Holland dealer in your area?

I can rebuild your pump. I live in Garland and have an original Ford oil pump reamer kit. If you can get the rebuild kit - I will rebuild your pump to stock specs.
