My tube has 1 bracket missing, what welding technique should I use to fix that? Or, can they be purchsed anywhere? I have never seen one for sale.
Thanks

Gas it. Use a 3 or 4 ot (000 or 0000) tip. I like to try to keep the old parts alive as long as possible, but new stuffs available too.

Take some flat strap metal fab a new mount and braze it on. Or take it to a welding shop and let them fab and braze. HTH

Exactly.

Braze it on.

mine snapped off too and i just grinded both ends (was still
attached to head) and then welded it on with my mig welder and
worked like a dream. if you won't have the bracket jsut make one
out of some steel i would say.
